CycleETF is based on a swing trading strategy utilizing ProShares Ultra and Ultra Short ETFs. These ETFs provide double the gain or loss from the underlying index their ETFs track. The bid/ask spreads are typically very small compared to that of purchasing other leveraged instruments like options. Quite often, we can buy these at market prices as they are not as time-sensitive or volatile as options are. With our preferred brokers, the commissions are very small relative to the trade itself and therefore permit a much wider array of investors to participate in this approach. In short, CycleETF provides a relatively high probability approach to the speculative portion of one’s investment portfolio.
The strategy uses our own proprietary approach to assessing the market indexes for exceptional return opportunities. We only trade one ETF at a time, so there is no need to allocate cash for multiple trades. Just as important, there is no opportunity on our part to publish returns that only represent a portion of your available cash- what you see is what you get! Unlike our options newsletter CycleSpreads, we are not necessarily trying to gauge intermediate term trends. We are simply looking for short term trading opportunities, and occasionally those opportunities turn out to be in sync with intermediate term trends that prove highly profitable and worth holding.
What Makes Us Different
1) These are actively managed recommendations. We don't post static stop or limit trades immediately after our recommendation like so many other newsletters. No, our recommendations are monitored throughout the trading day. In volatile markets, these orders can change without notice.
2) We are truly market neutral when it comes to any given trade. While we may expect the market to go up or down over the long term, that has no bearing on any trade.
3) You can email or phone us on any business day. That may seem obvious, but many newsletters do not even offer you this as an option.
